Activity summary:

The International Peace Bureau has long supported the disarmament work of the United Nations and efforts to strengthen international law, IPB also recognises that grass roots peoples’ movements are vitally important, and that peace cannot be separated from wider issues of economic justice, environmental security and human rights. Recently much of the IPB work has been on issues like nuclear weapons testing and proliferation, conventional arms transfers, and the impact of militarism on the environment.
